NYC Writers take to the streets

Goodbye “Grey’s Anatomy,” say so long to “Friday Night Lights”. Welcome “The View: Primetime” and say hello to “The Biggest Loser: The Three Hour Edition.”

TV networks are preparing to broadcast reruns tonight, after Hollywood TV writers put down their pens and took up picket signs. Yes, its that age old american tradition: Strike!

The writers SAY they're striking because they want a piece of the action when the shows they write are distributed via cell phones/the internet, which doesn't seem so unreasonable I guess. But why do writer's have to be so dramatic? They took to the streets and striked by CUTTING OFF TRAFFIC in downtown LA! You think this is going to get people on your side? I mean come on!

And just when you thought things were getting crazy - a writer gets hit by a car... Maybe you shouldn't be standing out in the middle of the road!
